I absolutely love Baran Catering! I work nearby and pop in at least twice a week to grab take-out for lunch. The food is delicious, Nader (chef/owner) and his wife are lovely people and the atmosphere is very welcoming. If you are looking for a cozy spot to have breakfast/lunch/dinner I highly recommend Baran! I have never been disappointed by any meal I have had from there. Also, as an added bonus, their prices are extremely reasonable for the quality/quantity of food 🙂

Had the pleasure of tasting Baran’s food both catered at an event and at the restaurant. As a resident of Northern California, I didn’t expect to experience Persian food of such high quality in Canada. All I can say is the food is fresh and tastes like homemade. We tried appetizers, kabobs, and stews. I really appreciate the freshness and attention to details and I was not disappointed. Anyone who cooks Persian food or has tried Persian dishes, can recognize the taste and quality of Baran!

Fantastic experience. We ordered the monthly special for 20 for a family gathering. The presentation, portions and flavour of every dish was exceptional. Everyone in our family from young to old loved all of it. The portion sizes are huge so we had lots for everyone for dinner and lots leftover for everyone to take some home with them.

Ordered Take out lunch today for our group of 5. The food was well presented and a healthy portion. I had the beef and chicken with rice and salad. I was only able to finish half of it. The food was flavourful and I enjoyed it. Service was quick and friendly. They was ample parking and the place was clean. They also have a breakfast option which I am planning to try out. Food is reasonably priced.
